Our Lead Trainer 

SANDRA MOSELEY 

Founder, Lead Trainer and retired Detective Inspector

  • Starting her career in uniform, working undercover, trained in surveillance and camera competency, she thrived in the proactive intelligence unit. Sandra then went on to specialise as a Detective, working on the Murder Teams, excelling, and later being awarded a Commendation for Apprehension of a Murder Suspect & Professionalism. 

  • A few years later Sandra successfully passed her Sergeants, and became an operational supervisor Detective Sergeant of serious and complex crimes, again being awarded a Commendation for Professionalism & Leadership of a team dealing with a Serious Assault/Critical Incident.

  • Due to her passion for helping people gain the right tools for the job she moved to work as the Training Manager for the Murder Command leading a team in supporting Detectives in investigating Murders. 

  • Sandra then moved her career in a new direction working at Hendon Crime Academy on the Senior Faculty teaching Detective Sergeants and supporting Detective Inspectors. While at Hendon she received a further 3 commendations; Professionalism and Leadership in organising and creating the first National Gangs Seminar,  Leading and Promotion Training for Constables to Sergeants, and Professionalism and leadership in creating and implementing Operation Hampshire principles and training.

  • Due to her passion for teaching, Sandra attended University and attained a Certificate in Education - Post 16 Teaching Qualification.

  • Sandra was recognised for her talent and was Commended by the Sikh Association and given an Award in supporting BAME communities in Promotion and Training. 

  • Sandra has supported over 400 officers with an outstanding great pass rate over the past  7 years. 

  • Sandra is a trained Interviewer for Assessments and Role Selection.

  • Whilst constantly balancing her core roles, Sandra often helped officers in her own time. She then went on to become Detective Inspector working operationally and on Intelligence & Investigations and during her last year before retirement (July 2021) for a period of time, she served as acting Detective Chief Inspector.
